Plaster
Plaster is a ubiquitous material which often goes unnoticed. It can be found on ceilings, molding and even cornices. And yet, this inspiring multi-purpose material boasts tremendous creative potential.

Plaster does not require noisy, high-tech machines. Plaster offers an endless world of possibilities: all you need is some gypsum, water and a few basic tools. This is why plaster was one of the first materials used by Garnier & Linker in their own workshop. There, it can produce molds, models and finished pieces.

What's more, plaster is often considered a low-end material, as illustrated by stucco replicas of statues used in art school classes. Without question, plaster can be found all-over. Nonetheless, its transformation requires know-how and all the subtleties of technical craftsmanship.
For Garnier & Linker, plaster is a direct cousin of bronze. Together, these materials provide formal freedom and textural interplay albeit with an exclusively monochrome interpretation in the case of plaster.
